 Calvert K-9 Search Team is a Maryland Search and Rescue Team, using highly trained search dogs to find lost and missing people.  Having met all the MD requirements and standards, we were accepted as part of the NRP/MSP led Maryland Search Team Task Force (MSTTF)

CK-9 Call Out Lexington Park 5 Sep 2022

CK-9 Call Out Lexington Park yesterday searching for a missing man. We deployed 4 dog teams, 3 flankers and a Base OPS manager along with multiple police officers. A happy find was made in the woods by CK-9 Team Sassy about 1.3km from the man's car:-)

CK-9 Call Out Landover 9 Aug 2022

CK-9 was called out by PG Police 0800 on 9 Aug 2022 to search for a missing 4YOM suspected buried. We responded with 2 cadaver dog teams, 4 flankers and 1 OPS. No find was made.

CK-9 Call Out Laurel 19 Jun 2022

CK-9 Responded to a midnight call out by PG Police on 19 Jun 2022 for a 65YOM with dementia. We responded with 2 area search dog teams, 3 flankers and 2 Base OPS folks, along with a Sardom Dog team. Around 0300 a neighbor saw the man and made the find alive a well:-)

CK-9 Call Out Chesapeake Beach 7 Jun 2022

Calvert County Sheriff’s Office called out CK-9 to assist them in a search yesterday. We responded with 2 Base OPS, 2 cadaver dog teams and 6 flankers. Team Toby with Sheriff’s officers flanking made the sad find. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office has stated that Ms. D’Angel has been located and is deceased. There are no signs of foul play, and the investigation is ongoing.

CK-9 Call Out Sands Rd 21 May2022

Ck-9 Deployed today to a major Muti-Organizational recovery search. The temperature was ‘feels like’ 98 degrees and the first hot day since winter that no one was ready for! We responded with 2 HRD dog teams, 2 OPS, and 8 flankers.  Hats off to all the Volunteers , Law Enforcement Officers and medical personnel that helped today!
