SAREX Watkins Regional Park - 3 Nov 2018

CK-9's Incident Management Team and dog teams Teyla and Max (as well as several other flankers) participated in a search and rescue exercise hosted by Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission Police.  The exercise took place at Watkins Regional Park in Prince Georges County, Maryland, and consisted of two scenarios of two lost people each.  Other responders, including law enforcement, ground, equestrian, and other canine search teams, came from around the region to participate in the event.  Our very own Team Max, handled by Mitchell Even, made the very first find of the day!  While there were a few kinks that needed to be worked out, overall, the exercise was a success!
